Seriously though, in 2.6 there will be some nice changes. It won't be out for a time, but will include some further balance adjustments as things get closer to satisfactory, as well as some refinements to map pack 3, and the beginning of refurbishing the old maps to bring them up to par. In time, expect the first two map packs to look a lot more attractive then they currently do (except battlefield 94', maybe. 'cause it's themed and such).

Just because Battlefield got a recolor on some areas, it's still damn ugly. Hope you make it actually beautiful. :/

Well, since you'll be detailing, it would probably be best to receive Mik's revised pack, and then detail starting with map pack 1 and 2 in whatever order, since those are the ones that really need a visual refreshment at this point.

ReplyDeleteYea though, I've been playing a bit more often lately to watch players and look for ways the map can look more decent.
For example, ZDWars2 could use a refreshment, no? I noticed a few gameplay things that could be redone, and the map is a bit cramped for the way the game is played nowadays. I was thinking the map should receive some sort of major overhaul, both in looks and size, some new areas perhaps?
Mik is at least working on a gameplay refresh in ZDWars2. Don't know about visuals. That probably won't change much at Mik's hand, but it does need a little something. idk, it'll look a bit different when it is next seen, at the very least.
